Weekend Project

It recently dawned on me that I probably will not maintain this blog throughout the rest of my life, and I really don't want to loose all that I've had to say so far. I would also like to save some of my posts for my pregnancy journal/scrapbook which I've intended to start for some time now, and also have these thoughts of sharing our journey with Aidan so he knows how special he really is.

With that being said, this weekend's project is to document all my posts onto my computer and not just on blogger.

I have copied all posts that pertain to TTC, IF, the miscarriage, the treatments, and the pregnancy into 2 documents. I have this pregnancy starting with the IUI to current, and I have the history, through IUI #1, the miscarriage, up to the decision to start IUI #2 in another.

This weekend will be about formatting the history. I'm not sure if I want to just print it and tuck it in a journal somewhere, or if I will format it to be laid out into a scrapbook. Maybe an 8x8 that can be neatly tucked away with the u/s photos, congratulation cards, and other memorabilia from the first pregnancy. Not sure what my heart will be able to handle quite yet.

So that's where you'll find me this weekend, in front of the computer, turning my online blog into a tangible "book".

It was 1 year ago today when I called my GYN office and got the phone number to Shady Grove Fertility, called and set up our consultation appointment... wow!

What a great idea! It will be so worth the effort. I just love it! (I may have to steal it!). For our first anniversary, I copied all of the emails between my DH and I while we were dating and had it made into a book for him. Great way to preserve memories... iclw

What a cool idea! I wish I had the motivation to scrapbook the mounds of pictures I have laying around! Have fun!

This is an excellent idea. I'll have to think about doing it when I have a moment someday.

Thanks for sharing!
